Last month, with every utility bill sent out the residents of Carlisle should have received all of these procedures and violation rules.These procedures were discussed again in last night's council meeting.
Let us recap the rules for the height of your lawn.
1. If a resident's lawn gets 8" or higher they will receive a warning from the City.
2. The resident will have 5 days to mow the lawn after the warning.
3. If after 5 days they have not mowed their lawn the City will hire someone to do it.
4. After the City has their lawn mowed the resident will owe 200% above the cost it was to mow the yard.
Ultimately, the resident who refuses to mow their lawn or simply does not do it will receive nearly a $300 bill/fine for the mowing of their lawn. The resident will then have 30 days to pay the bill or it will be attached to the property.Residents please take care of your lawns. If you are not able to take care of your lawns call someone to mow it. It will save from high dollar fines/bills from the City.

When will the City tell the railroad (csx) to mow their property. Have they lost the CSX phone # ????????????????????????????? or is Town Hall off on another paid holiday or another VACATION. It seems like the council and manager only enforce the rules when they select the rules that they want enforced. Maybe Carlisle Resident will get smart in November and flush all of them out of office,I pray. In my opionion they are all worthless. Now that's just My opinion, what's yours ??

How about the city clearing the Jungle out (chop it all down) on the south side of PARK DR. between JOHN ST. and SUNSET. Read the code books and write the tickets. Just because the city manager doesn't drive thru that intersection every day as do I, It is no excuse to fluff off a CITIZEN'S complaints.
